We believe that the Church has been called out and called together by the grace of God in Christ and that Christians are called into a deep relationship with each other as well as with God. The shape of the Church we imagine in the future must be tested against our theological understanding of what it means to be the people of God.

Inspired by Steven Croft's book, 'Transforming Communities' (DLT, London 2002), we have formed a network of small communities in the parish of St Ninian & St Chad linked together as a honeycomb. Members of these communities meet together regularly for biblical reflection, the sharing of faith stories, book study and worship. They are focused on growing God's Kingdom by

• Worshipping together
• Building relationships with each other as the Body of Christ
• Learning together in order to support each other's ministry in the whole of their lives
• Undertaking some ministry in order to have an outward as well as an inward thrust.
